Crossfit

CrossFit is a way of exercising combining Olympic weightlifting, athletics and gymnastics. During the exercise, a variety of functional movements are carried out in high intensity – as quickly as possible. The philosophy behind CrossFit is not to specialize in one specific sporting component as this could lead to unilateral physical development.

Heavy bag workout

What’s in a name? We therefore often call this “training the bags”. A kickboxing and / or boxing training on the punching bag. We train is in groups, but each participant has their own punching bag to work with.

Running

We offer daily running sessions under supervision at Vondelgym. Our trainers Klaas, Roos, Jermain, Niels and Yasmin work with you on endurance, speed and power and are happy to help you reach your running goal.

Fitness

Your classic strength training. Pumping iron.. dumbbells, barbells, benches, squatracks, all that fun stuff! Fitness on its own needs little explanation. Freestyle your fitness routine at Vondelgym or join a group if you’re keen for extra help and motivation. .

Yoga & Mobility

Yoga & Mobility, strength and flexibility are essential for those who train on the regular. We offer daily mobility training with a lot of focus on hips, back, shoulders and hamstrings. And of course, we offer yoga in addition. Join us for (multiple) daily sessions.

Youngsters

Youngsters is our youth department. We teach at schools in the city and of course in the gym. Having fun is the starting point of all lessons; play time in motion!
